1. What you agree to

By creating a TradeDNA account or using the site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you're using TradeDNA on behalf of a firm, you also bind that firm to these Terms and represent that you have authority to do so.

2. What TradeDNA is (and isn't)

TradeDNA is a trading journal, AI coach, and market-intelligence tool for self-directed traders. It helps you log trades, reflect on your psychology, review market context, and track prop-firm rule compliance.

TradeDNA is not investment advice, a trading signal service, a broker, or a fiduciary. Nothing in the product, including AI-generated summaries or coaching responses, constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, contract, or asset. All trading decisions are yours.

3. Your account

You must be 18+ and legally able to open a brokerage account where you live.
Keep your login credentials private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
One person per account. Firm accounts get per-seat licenses.

4. Broker connections

When you connect an account, you authorize TradeDNA to read your trading activity using the credentials you provide. TradeDNA does not place trades or send orders on your behalf.

You are responsible for reviewing our imports for accuracy. Commissions, fees, and overnight swaps are calculated from the data your broker returns. If a broker's export is incomplete or incorrect, TradeDNA's reporting will reflect that.

5. Fees & subscriptions

Paid plans are monthly, billed through our payment processor. Prices are shown at checkout and on our pricing page.
Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. We charge the payment method on file at the then-current price each period.
You can cancel anytime, and your plan stays active through the end of the current billing period. All payments are final and non-refundable, including for partial periods.
Canceling before a renewal is your responsibility. We can't refund a charge because a cancellation was forgotten.
We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to your account email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new pricing.
Abuse of trial credits or chargebacks will result in account termination.

6. AI coaching: what you should know

The AI Coach uses a third-party large language model to analyze your data. Responses are generated probabilistically and can be wrong. Every claim is grounded in your own data, but the coach's interpretation is not guaranteed to be correct.

Do not rely on the coach for medical, legal, or licensed financial advice. If you're in emotional distress, please reach out to a professional.

7. Market data & content

News headlines, economic calendar, and COT data are aggregated from licensed third-party data providers and public regulatory sources. We paraphrase headlines using an AI model; original sources remain the copyright of their respective owners. You may not scrape, republish, or redistribute market data from TradeDNA to other products.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or access TradeDNA's non-public APIs without written permission
Use TradeDNA to send spam, phishing, or harmful content
Upload malicious files or attempt to breach our infrastructure
Scrape data or credentials of other users
Resell the product without written authorization
Use the product to violate any law or your broker's terms

9. Your content is yours

You retain ownership of everything you upload: trades, journal entries, trading plans, and notes. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to run the product for you and to provide features you've opted into. We do not use your data to train models or improve our service beyond de-identified aggregates.

10. Risk disclosure

Trading foreign exchange, futures, equities, options, and cryptocurrency on margin carries a high level of risk. Past performance is not indicative of future results. The leverage available in these markets can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to trade, consider your investment objectives, experience level, and risk appetite. You could lose more than your initial deposit and should not trade with money you cannot afford to lose.

11. Warranty disclaimer

TradeDNA is provided "as is." We don't warrant that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly accurate. Market data may be delayed. Broker connections may fail. AI responses may be wrong. We work hard to minimize these, but you accept the product as-is.

12. Security

We protect your data with industry-standard measures, including encryption of broker credentials at rest. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for unauthorized access to or disclosure of your data arising from events outside our reasonable control. You are responsible for keeping your own credentials and devices secure.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradeDNA LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or trading losses, arising from your use of the product. Our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the amount you paid us during that period.

Some places don't allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

If a third party brings a claim against TradeDNA because of how you used the product, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or someone else's rights, you agree to cover our reasonable costs in handling it, including legal fees. We'll tell you about the claim and may choose to manage its defense ourselves.

15. Our intellectual property

The TradeDNA product, including its software, design, brand, and the content we create, is ours and protected by copyright and trademark. While your account is active and in good standing, you have a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or build a competing product from it. Your own data stays yours, see section 9.

16. Termination

You can cancel anytime from Settings. We can suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, non-payment, or legal compulsion. On termination, we'll give you 30 days to export your data before permanent deletion, except where law requires otherwise.

17. International use

TradeDNA is operated from the United States. We make no claim that it's appropriate or available everywhere, and you're responsible for following the laws where you are. Where local law prohibits it, the offer is void.

18. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration seated in the State of Wyoming, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive the right to class actions except where prohibited by law.

19. Changes to these terms

If we change material terms, we'll email active users at least 14 days before the change. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.

20. General

Entire agreement: these Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and TradeDNA, and they replace anything said earlier. Marketing, chat, or email doesn't change them unless we update this document.
Time limit on claims: where the law allows, any claim against us must be brought within one year of when it arose, or it's permanently waived.
Costs: in a dispute over these Terms, the side that prevails can recover its reasonable legal costs and fees.
Assignment: you can't transfer your rights under these Terms. We can, for example if TradeDNA is acquired or reorganized.
Events beyond control: we're not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Severability: if any part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest stays in force.
No waiver: if we don't enforce a rule right away, we keep the right to enforce it later.
Who's covered: where these Terms protect TradeDNA, that protection also extends to our owners, employees, and partners who help run the product.
